I cannot thank Dr. Alex enough for his care and professionalism. My 4-year-old son, who has autism, needed a blood test after being unwell for months. Naturally, I was worried about how he would handle the experience. But Dr. Alex made all the difference, he approached my son in such a friendly and creative way, even offering him a toy to make him feel at ease. In the room, I held my son in my arms while we distracted him with cartoons. Dr. Alex was incredibly quick and gentle, making the process smooth with no big tears. The best part? I’ve had two courses of PRP for joints in both knees, and it’s been life changing.

I initially started with my left knee which was swollen and quite painful, an accumulation of damage caused by running. I started running at 13 and started having occasional issues with my left knee around 26. But last year I had flare up which would not go away, and the NHS could only offer me pain relief and exercise, as it was consider very minor knee damage. I casually mentioned my knee pain during a visit to Our Skin, and PRP for Joints was suggested.

I booked a course of 3 treatments for my left knee -  first treatment resulted in instance relief (50% reduction in pain), second treatment I was able to bend and straighten my knee with no pain whatsoever, and the final treatment sealed the deal.  I now have no pain in my left knee.

The body is a funny thing! once my left knee was healed - my right knee started hurting. So I repeated the same three treatments in my right knee, and once again I now have no pain. With the right knee it was the third and final treatment that provided me with 95% relief from stiffness and pain.
