Non-Surgical Lifting & Skin Tightening in London

Three treatment pathways for clients concerned about facial or neck laxity, reduced definition and loss of firmness: Volnewmer monopolar radiofrequency, Ultraformer MPT focused ultrasound, or Volformer combining both technologies in one personalised plan.

Different technologies Monopolar RF and focused ultrasound work through different mechanisms and depths.
Personalised treatment planning The treatment or combination is selected around your concern, anatomy and suitability.
Available in Nine Elms These lifting technologies are currently offered at our Nine Elms clinic, subject to availability.
Three lifting pathways

Firm, lift or combine both.

These treatments are related, but they are not interchangeable. Volnewmer focuses on dermal radiofrequency heating, Ultraformer MPT uses focused ultrasound at selected depths, and Volformer combines both when a broader treatment plan is appropriate.

How to choose

The difference is where the energy is delivered.

You do not need to decide between the devices yourself. This is simply a guide to why we may recommend one technology or a combination after assessment.

01

Volnewmer — firmness

Monopolar radiofrequency creates controlled dermal heating. It is often the stronger fit when skin firmness, texture and early laxity are the main concerns.

02

Ultraformer MPT — lift

Focused ultrasound delivers energy at selected focal depths. It is often chosen when lifting, jawline definition and lower-face or neck contour are the priorities.

03

Volformer — both

Combines radiofrequency and focused ultrasound when your concern spans skin firmness and deeper support within the same treatment plan.

Lifting & tightening FAQs

Questions before booking.

What is the difference between Volnewmer and Ultraformer MPT?+
Volnewmer uses monopolar radiofrequency to heat a broader volume of tissue through the dermis, with skin firmness and texture among its main goals. Ultraformer MPT uses focused ultrasound at selected focal depths and is more directly associated with lifting and contouring.
What is Volformer?+
Volformer is Our Skin Clinic's combined treatment pathway using Volnewmer and Ultraformer MPT within the same personalised plan. It may be considered when both dermal firmness and deeper lifting are relevant to your concern.
Is one treatment better than the others?+
Not universally. The technologies work differently, so the better fit depends on your anatomy, degree and location of laxity, skin quality, goals and treatment preferences. Some clients may only need one device, while others may benefit from a combined approach.
Can these treatments replace a surgical facelift?+
No. Non-surgical energy-based treatments can support firmer or more lifted-looking skin in suitable clients, but they cannot reproduce the degree of tissue repositioning or skin removal possible with surgery. Significant laxity may be better assessed by a surgical specialist.
When will I see a result?+
Some clients notice an early change in firmness, while the fuller effect develops gradually as collagen remodels over the following weeks and months. The timing and degree of change vary between individuals and between technologies.
Is there downtime?+
These are non-surgical treatments with limited interruption to normal activity for many clients. Temporary redness, warmth, tenderness, sensitivity or mild swelling can occur, depending on the technology, settings and individual response.
Where are Volnewmer, Ultraformer MPT and Volformer available?+
These lifting technologies are currently offered at Our Skin Clinic in Nine Elms, London, subject to practitioner and device availability. Contact us if you would like help choosing the correct appointment.
