What Volformer is

Volformer brings together Ultraformer MPT and Volnewmer in one visit. Ultraformer MPT reaches the deeper support layer of the skin to lift and contour; Volnewmer works through the dermis to improve firmness, texture and skin quality. Used together, they address more of what changes as skin ages than either technology alone.

Consultation

We assess your skin and plan how the two technologies are sequenced for you.

Treatment

Ultraformer MPT first for structural lift, then Volnewmer for dermal firming.

Duration

Around 45 minutes to 1 hour in total, depending on the areas treated.

Aftercare

No required downtime. Skin may be pink or feel warm for a short while.

When you'll see results

Some firming can be noticeable straight away. The fuller effect of both technologies builds gradually over the following weeks and months, as collagen remodels. Results vary between individuals, and your practitioner will discuss a maintenance plan suited to your skin.

Frequently asked questions

Is Volformer suitable for everyone?

Not everyone is a candidate. It isn't suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for anyone with a pacemaker or implanted electronic device, an active skin infection, or significant skin laxity better addressed surgically. We take a full medical history at consultation to confirm it's right for you, including whether Volformer or a single technology is the better fit.

Is Volformer better than having one treatment alone?

It depends on your goals. Ultraformer MPT alone is excellent for lift and contour. Volnewmer alone is excellent for firmness and texture. Volformer combines both when a client's concerns span more than one layer — your practitioner will advise honestly on what's right for you.

Does it hurt?

Most people find both stages manageable — brief warmth or pulses of heat, adjusted to your comfort throughout.

Can Volformer replace a facelift?

No. Volformer supports firmer, more lifted-looking skin non-surgically, but it isn't a substitute for surgery where there's significant excess skin. We'll tell you honestly if that's your situation.
